These Embest ARM Evaluation Boards can of course be used with any ARM development system.  If you have not already chosen a JTAG interface and compiler then for a very cost effective solution you should consider the Embest JTAG interface, ARM IDE software based on the GCC compiler and Flash Programmer. Philips LPC2xxx Evaluation board

Philips LPC2000 Evaluation boardThese are complete evaluation kits for Philips LPC2000 ARM7TDMI-S Core Microcontrollers which depending on the selection of a daughter board can include the LPC2114/19/24/29/94, 2131/32/38, 2210/12/14/90/92/94. They include full circuit diagrams, BOM, and lots of software examples in source code with versions to run in Flash or RAM for easy testing as well as acting as an embedded tutorial.

The 16/32-bit LPC2000 family is based on a 1.8V ARM7TDMI-S core operating at up to 60 MHz together with a wide range of peripherals including multiple serial interfaces, 10-bit ADC and external bus options. These controllers are designed for use in a range of applications including industrial control, automotive, medical, connectivity and any other general purpose embedded application requiring high performance and low power consumption in a cost-effective package.

Three types LPC2000 CPU module board currently exist

1) LPCEB2000-S CPU module board, with an LPC2129 as default, it can be replaced with an LPC2114/2119/ 2124/2194.

2) LPCEB2000-A CPU module board, with an LPC2132 as default, it can be replaced with an LPC2131/2138.

3) LPCEB2000-B CPU module board, with an LPC2292 as default, it can be replaced with an LPC2210/2212/ 2214/2290/2294.

ST Micro STDV710 Evaluation board

 An Evaluation board for the ST Microelectronic STR710FZ2T6 Microcontroller (STR710 series)

The STR710F-Z2T6 is an ARM-powered microcontroller with embedded Flash and RAM. It is based on the ARM7TDMI core with low pin-count packages aimed at customers who want the power and flexibility of a 32-bit microcontroller plus an extensive range of peripheral functions and enhanced I/O capabilities. The controller is designed to target industrial control applications such as factory automation, point-of-sale, vending machines, and testing equipment, as well as mass-market telecom applications such as bridges and protocol translators.

Embest STDV710A™ Evaluation Board is intended as a low cost evaluation platform for STR710F-Z2T6 devices. The board expands all features of STR710F-Z2T6 microcontroller and integrates various additional peripherals, a JTAG debugger interface, and lots of sample programs for embedded development.

Embest ST Micro STDV711 Evaluation BoardST Micro STDV711 Evaluation board

An ARM7TDMI Evaluation Board based upon STMicroelectronics STR711FR2T6 with interfaces to RS232, USB, SPI, I²C, A/D, RTC, watchdog, LED, Buzzer and Enhanced I/O Expansion for HDLC, SCD. Source code is provided to test all the interfaces.

The STDV711F evaluation board is intended as a low-cost development platform to enable rapid evaluation of the STR71x series of 32-bit 64-pin ARM7 core microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics. The board is based on STR711FR2T6 microcontroller with on-chip 256+16Kbyte flash memory and 64Kbyte high-speed RAM. Peripheral interfaces include two SPIs, two I²C interfaces, four UARTs, and HDLC, SC, MMC interfaces. The device provides a USB interface and a 4-channel 12-bit A/D converter, 4 16-bit standard timers, Realtime Clock, Watchdog enhanced I/O ports and includes JTAG with debug mode trigger request.

Embest STDV730F™ Evaluation Board has a STR730F-Z2T6, ARM7TDMI Flash microcontroller from STMicroelectronics with 256 Kbytes of flash, 16 Kbytes of RAM and powerful peripheral functions, including up 16-channel 10-bit ADC, 20 timers, 4xUARTs, 3xCANs, SPI, I2C, DMA, RTC, PWM, and 112 GPIO. ST Micro STDV750F Evaluation board

This ARM7TDMI-S board is based on STMicroelectronic’s STR750FV2T6. The device has 256KB of embedded Flash plus an additional 16K of Read-While-Write Flash for EEPROM emulation. It can be used with either 3.3V or 5V power supply. It is able to offer high performance with 54MIPS at 60MHz and low power consumption down to 10μA in standby mode which makes it ideal for battery operated applications. It supports up to 8 communication peripherals including USB and CAN, as well as a 4-channel DMA controller that significantly reduces CPU loading and a fast 10-bit ADC.

Embest's STDV750F Evaluation Board is a complete development platform for the STR750FV2T6 devices. The board expands all the features of the microcontroller via a number of header connectors to support USB 2.0, CAN 2.0, 3 UART channels, LCD hardware and full processor interfaces including JTAG.

ST Micro STDV912F Evaluation board

This STR91xF Evaluation Board is based on the STR912FW42 which combines a 16/32-bit ARM966E-S RISC processor core with up to 96Kbytes SRAM, 256Kbytes Main Flash and 32Kbytes secondary Flash.  The ARM966E-S core can perform single-cycle DSP instructions which is suitable for speech processing, audio algorithms and low-end imaging.  The microcontroller is equipped with USB, CAN, Ethernet, AC motor control, 4 timers, ADC, RTC, DMA and up to 80 GPIO.

The Evaluation Board is an effective ARM9 platform for STMicroelectronics STR912 microcontroller (MCU) family.  The board integrates RS232, LEDs, audio, buzzer, test buttons, LCD, Ethernet, CAN2.0, USB device and JTAG interface to create a versatile stand-alone platform.  All 128 pins of the CPU can be accessed to meet development requirements and applications.
