Computer Solutions celebrates 25th anniversary with special offers

Computer Solutions Ltd. is celebrating 25 years of supplying embedded systems development tools, and is doing it by giving away one thousand pounds' worth of wine as well as launching a number of special offers on selected product ranges.

The wine was given away as prizes in a draw based on visits to the company's web site www.computer-solutions.co.uk . In addition, Computer Solutions, in conjunction with a number of key suppliers, will offer a price reduction of 10% on products brought through the company's web shop, including USB analysers, CAN Bus interfaces, BDM development packages, real-time executives, TCP/IP stacks, embedded file systems, Windows driver generators and C compilers. 'When we founded Computer Solutions 25 years ago', says Managing Director Chris Stephens, 'the microprocessor market was dominated by 4- and 8-bit devices, with 16-bit devices only just becoming available and 32-bit devices with integral I/O unheard of. A typical development system with very limited capabilities could cost £20,000.'
