Having reached the grand old age of 75 it is time to relax and fulfil other ambitions. Its been an exciting ride with you, our customers, often on the

But what to do with the web site ? It has taken >12 man years of work to create a repository of knowledge on many aspects of the art and science of embedded microprocessor development and even after closing the shop it still gets over 4,000 visitors per month. So as a service to my customers I have decide to keep it live providing my technical insights on the products and then redirecting viewers to sites where they can purchase the items they used to buy from us. Follow the link "Home" The "Information zone" consists of articles produced as background tutorials on subjects of interest to those designing new products. As different CPUs have became available this has lead to new development techniques and in particular to new ways of communicating between nodes.

Site Search
Our site search is provided courtesy of FreeFind. Details of their services are available at: https://freefind.com. Using it you can search our site for products, words or chips. A few helpful hints:
- The search will look for either words or numbers
- Logical AND/OR operators do not work in the search field.
- But you can select Match ALL words ( =AND) or Match ANY words ( =OR). Having done one search further searches may be performed on that set (equivalent to an AND of the operations).
- Once a set of page links have been returned a useful tip is to right click on the page link you want to look at and select "Open in Window". That way you can easily return directly to the list to select another page.
- Also, most browsers have a "Search this page" option in order to find the word referenced. Its Edit/Find in Explorer - this can be useful in some of our long lists of supported chips !
- The Search Results page contains a "Back to COMSOL" button which will return to this page.
- We have not always been totally consistent in chip naming so we may have put different minor options as:
68HC05 (A) (B) (C)
or 68HC05 A/B/C
or 68HC05 A-C
or 68HC05 x
so please try to identify the general area you wish to view then apply the human touch!
- Unfortunately our search facility only operates in English.
There are a number of things we can do to modify the way the search engine ranks pages so if you have had problems when looking for things which you think should be on the site send an email to sales@computer-solutions.co.uk ( saying what entries you tried ).
